Kinect – How it works.
The XBOX 360 Kinect Sensor is a tool for Motion Tracking and Fullbody Interaction. Gerlinde Emsenhuber, a member of the CADET team in Salzburg presented the “inner parts” of the device, including the built-in technology, Light Coding, the difference between Kinect and time-of-flight cameras and the problem of using two or more Kinects at the same time.
